Steve joined Pharos in 1990 and became a Company Director in 2002. Since 2007 Steve has been Managing Director of the company. Steve's spare time is spent with his young family and trying to improve his game on the golf course. But his real passion is for everything automotive.

Stephen Kempe Dip CII

Corporate Development Director Stephen Kempe began his broking career with Pharos in 1988. He has over 20 years' experience specialising in commercial and corporate insurance and currently holds the title for arranging unusual and difficult covers for clients. His pastimes include Round Table, everything Italian, playing guitar and technology.

Stephen Corner ACII Chartered Insurance Broker

Stephen started his career at a London broking house and has spent the past 11 years with Pharos delivering pragmatic solutions for commercial clients. Out of office hours, Stephen is involved in the running of his local church, and also works as a volunteer for a wildlife charity. When time allows, he can also be found brushing up his piano playing.

Andy Davis ACII Chartered Insurance Broker

Andy is our Commercial Customer Services Manager and has been with Pharos since 2001. A car fanatic, he's also our motor fleet specialist. Despite having had no previous running experience, he recently completed the London Marathon successfully for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). He also plays football and golf.

Greg Lackenby Cert CII

Greg, who specialises in commercial claims, has over 20 years' experience in insurance. He joined Pharos in 1998.

Fergus Martin Cert CII

The most recent addition to the Pharos team having joined the company in 2009 in the role of New Business Executive. A local man with excellent knowledge of the Dover , Deal & Thanet areas. Previously employed by Norwich union Fergus has nine years experience in the Insurance Industry both as a broker and a commercial underwriter. His spare time is taken up largely by being a father to his two young children. What little of it remains in spent pursuing a keen interest in the arts, playing the guitar and football.
